I remember bluntly the first time I watched the World Cup. It was 2002 when the biggest football competition held in Korea & Japan. I was a 9 years old girl who threw her bag after school to turn on the tv and watch the cup. My eyes were stuck on this one man, Miroslav Klose. Later because of him, I support Germany. Also, I fall in love with football.
That 9 years old kid always have the dream to watch the World Cup live in the host country, live in its magnificent stadium. But it always happens to be so far away from Indonesia, like in another part of the world. Still, it is true that they said to never give up on your dream. This year, I made it to the World Cup. I WATCH FIFA WORLD CUP 2018 IN RUSSIA LIVE IN THE STADIUM!
I notice that most people have two favorite football team that they support. The first one is the team that they support undoubtedly, watch the match every weekend, and go crazy about it. The second one is the team that they support because of certain players or just because supporting only one team is not enough. For me, the first is Arsenal and the second is FC Bayern München.
To be honest, I forgot when is exactly my support for FC Bayern grew. But I know clearly why I love this team. Because I like Germany National Football Team and most of the FC Bayern players are also play for Germany NT, so yes that was one of the reason. The other reason is because Miroslav Klose and Philipp Lahm, I love to see them played with FC Bayern. But with or without them, it is always a pleasure to watch FC Bayern plays.
If you know me for a long time, you must know that I love football. My favorite football team is Arsenal, I bet you know that. But, not many people know that my second favorite football team is FC Bayern Munchen. My love for FC Bayern grow because the team is from Germany, which I always wanted to visit. I also support Germany National Football Team in particular, so since that FC Bayern players are mostly German, so yeah.
I was so excited when I know that FC Bayern will come to Asia for their pre-season tour. My first option wasn’t to watch FC Bayern, but Arsenal in Shanghai. But since I just come back from Beijing months before, I think it would be a waste to spend another money to go that far, also I don’t have so many work leave to use. I then decided to go to Singapore for FC Bayern.
I remember when I was an elementary student, I used to see a poster of seven wonders of the world in my class every day. I also got to see the picture of it on my textbooks. Years later, I visited one of the place in the list, Great Wall of China. I never really want to visit Great Wall of China. Frankly speaking I want to visit Colosseum first, then complete my seven wonders of the worlds list. But unexpectedly I went to Beijing, so I could not missed the Great Wall!
Before I came to Beijing, I did some research about the Great Wall of China. From what I read in the internet, most people suggest to come to Mutianyu section, because it less crowded compare to Badaling section, even tough Mutianyu is farther and quite difficult to reach. But my friend who live in Beijing said that it is better to go to Badaling section, because it is the most preserved section and the view was also better. She also agree to accompanied me, so as I don’t want to get lost, I chose to go to the Badaling section.
The one and only reason is Miroslav Klose!
If you know me well, then you’ll know that I’m a Potterhead. I love Harry Potter. The books, the movies, and everything. So when the Wizarding World of Harry Potter open first, back in 2010 in Orlando, USA, I really wanna go there. And then, in 2014, Universal Studio Japan announced that they’re going to open Wizarding World of Harry Potter there. So, when I issued my flight ticket to Japan, I immediately chose Osaka (instead going straight to Tokyo) because USJ is in Osaka.
When I arrived in Kansai International Airport in Osaka, I just can’t handle my excitement. Apalagi pas ngeliat banner Wizarding World of Harry Potter gede banget di bandara, saya langsung foto-foto lah! Too bad, I arrived late in the morning, sekitar jam 10an gitu, jadi kalau mau langsung ke USJ sayang aja gitu karena udah telat.
As a self proclaim traveler, I do have tons of travel bucket list that I hope I could cross it off all before I died. It includes with places I want to visit, activities I want to do, or just food I want to try.
So, here’s the list and we’ll see if I could cross it off one by one 🙂
